Dallas’s luxury high-rise Museum Tower is now home to a well-appointed feminine apartment designed by the award-winning American design studio Laura Lee Clark Interior Design, Inc. The chic interior was created by combining varying hues of pink and white with exclusive design and exquisite decor.

After deciding to relocate from California to Dallas, a savvy client hired designer Laura Lee Clark Falconer and project manager Lindsay Cobb to transform her new apartment. “We walked through the unit, and I remember being really excited to work on something in Museum Tower,” recalls Laura Lee. “[The owner] was walking us through and commenting on cosmetic changes she wanted to make. Certain areas weren’t exciting enough. It was neutral and a blank slate.” She was looking for a place that would combine elegance and lavishness, but with a feminine and warm style.Museum Tower Apartment by Laura Lee Clark Interiors kitchen

As a woman who loves to cook and entertain the client found the apartment’s dark and masculine kitchen not only unbefitting of her feminine taste, but also lacking in functionality. Museum Tower Apartment by Laura Lee Clark Interiors bedroom

“She wanted the kitchen to be more exciting.” So Laura Lee and her team completely re-imagined the space with a new, glamorous-yet-efficient Poggenpohl kitchen. The upper cabinets were done in satin glass adding luminosity to the space along with a dynamic component as their appearance changes depending on the sunlight. A waterfall island with a Dolce Vita natural quartzite counter was also added. The result is a radiant, effeminate room that beautifully complements the adjacent den and suits the needs of the homeowner.Museum Tower Apartment by Laura Lee Clark Interiors

In addition to renovating the space, Laura Lee and Lindsay were also hired to furnish the apartment. The homeowner was still living in California during this process which could have proved challenging, but Laura Lee and Lindsay say the client was exceptionally trusting of their choices making the process practically seamless.Museum Tower Apartment by Laura Lee Clark Interiors nymph chandelier

For the dining room, the exotic and daring Nymph chandelier by KOKET, featuring a fanciful explosion of gold butterflies silently hovering in a spherical shape, makes this space flirtatiously whimsical to the eye. Showers of gleaming gold butterflies are mixed with the soft, princess pink of the room design to create a provocative ambiance of both daring and elegance. The Baker dining chairs and Julian Chichester dining table with wood details create a natural and peaceful feeling. The suite bedroom and guest’s room were designed with especially soft colors and romantic patterns combined with white furnishings and bedding.Museum Tower Apartment by Laura Lee Clark Interiors cute room

To complete the space, a collection of artwork was chosen specifically for the apartment. The homeowner worked with art consultant Lisa Brown and was very hands-on in the acquisition process. “Lisa told her where to go in New York, and she walked in and fell in love with pieces that ended up being flawless in her space,” Laura Lee says.  “It adds a whole other layer.” The final result was a resounding success, an exquisitely feminine, warm, and luxurious-yet-functional Dallas high-rise.
