A colourful and minimalistic apartment by Yuriy Zimenko

Minimalism does not mean boring. This two-story apartment in the very centre of Kiev, created by The Design Studio of Yuriy Zimenko is here to prove it. When you look at this amazing project, the first thing you notice is the colours – in a world of contemporary neutral tones, which have their own beauty, this design stands out. Blue and gold melt together to create an elegant, sober and luxurious environment that immediately brings peace just to look at.

EDEN CENTER TABLE BY BOCA DO LOBO

It took several meetings with the customer to get this project the way it is, with the right tones and undertones. A big dark blue sofa brings comfort to the living room, giving space to Eden Centre Table by Boca do Lobo to shine. Fully made of polished casted brass, with a delicately engraved top exposing the heart of a golden tree, the table shows all of its personality in a sea of blue tones.

The wall entirely covered by a mirror – which can help widen the space with a touch of modernity – contrasts with the wooden floor, complementing the look. On the other side of the room, reflected by the mirror, you can find the open space combination of the dining room and kitchen. Silverwood marble and golden facades blend peacefully to create a luxurious and unique space.

If you go upstairs, you will find an astonishing purple bedroom. Full of textures, the cold toned ambience contrasts with the minimalism of the living room. The colour-blocking that was first seen in fashion trends has taken over interior designs to bring a touch style to every room that uses it – and the Design Studio of Yuriy Zimenko made it perfectly.

After the bedroom, the master bathroom brings all the luxury in the form of blue onyx. As well as the guest bathroom, the two spaces have a futuristic vibe. The second is highlighted by the red colour, in contrast with the other rooms.
