Missoni Home 2018 Collection

The fabric itself is fundamental: it creates a game of visual and tactile emotions, with light and colour; offering matt and silky contrasts, compact structures, evanescence, layered embroidery and metamorphic effects. The fabric gives shape and support to the design of seating and furniture and provides surface reliefs that are always different. The garden is like a wonderland; colours bloom and amongst swaying stems are found multicolour poppies and vivid butterflies. These decorative compositions dance on contrasting backgrounds of night and day. The refined manufacturing techniques give decoupage effects, overprints and artistic embroideries. Natural and botanical subjects are accompanied by a game of delicate flames of varying intensity, chevrons, optical inserts and geometric reliefs. These different pieces are designed for a perfect coexistence, to be composed and dismantled at will.

On a black & white backdrop, the precious hues of a field of exuberant poppies and colourful butterflies dotted among the stems, pop with colour. Colours and textures create layers on a reversible jacquard, like a painted canvas (Valmadrera). The undulating flower stems decorate the double cushion of the backrest, in pure cotton reversible jacquard (Verbania). Sofa with curved lines (Inntil). Handwoven rug in linen and viscose (Veyvah).

Something truly special for bedlinen. This flower garden transfers to the bed and covers it with large poppies. Duvet cover and pillowcases in digitally printed cotton sateen (Veronica). Modular sofa (Tektonik) upholstered in soft toned flamed jacquard (Vulcano) to be composed as desired and accompanied with cushions in different patterns: red and green stripes in jacquard chenille effect (Volterra), patterned poppies printed on an ivory background in Trevira velvet (Vancouver), coloured flames in reversible jacquard (Vulcano) and wide ribbed viscose matt-shine velvet (Coomba). Pictorial throw printed with a nuanced knit-effect zigzag (Vittoria). Ivory cut pile rugs (Nirsa).

Butterflies fly and flit  on  a  backdrop  of sky blue waterproof panama fabric Villahermosa, seen on the round sofa Tiamat New and loungers Jalamar Outdoor. Captivating the sheer gauze curtain are macro butterflies Valladolid. In the mix of outdoor items; on the lounger, a suffused stripe and chevron jacquard fabric Vilufushi, an outdoor mat with hand-woven vivid stripes Vallenar and soft striped terry cushions Viviette (Vanessa Outdoor).

Indoor. Colourful butterflies in pastel shades on a matt-shine micro checked sateen Venice enliven the modular sofa Top4. Alongside a Levante screen, in iridescent jacquard chevron  Vinci  and a fresh toned reversible jacquard fabric covers Miss chairs and cushions Vulcano (Summer Vanessa).

The butterflies are in multiple also in the winter version, this change of season is reflected with the inclusion of more substantial textures, découpé relief effects and embroideries, Vermillon and Vindel (Winter Vanessa).
