Showcasing their newest lighting designs, Formagenda will be showcasing on sector NOW! Design à Vivre in hall 7, stand C59 at the prestigious Maison et Objet 2o17. The Brand is quite passionate about what they do and so they utilise a form language that resists functional and boring designs, opting for a more contextual approach to creating lamps with emotion and character.
Their philosophy does not lie on making impetuous design but rather simple and geometrically reduced. The lamps gain an iconic status due to the brand’s insight on combining subtle and playful contrasts into basic shapes. Formagenda’s products are handmade in Germany in a personal interaction process and by using traditional craftsmanship techniques, as disclosed by Benjamin Hopf, “I want people to form a lively relationship with our products.”
