RANDOM Designer: Chia-Ying Lee Imagine a midsummer day, the warm wind blow carrying spices and perfumes, soap bubbles floating in the air and a softness that enchants and communicates with nature. They seem to dance to the sound of the reeds moved by the wind, rolling, swaying … with a simplicity that fascinates at first sight. They are moving, come together forming compositions of soap bubbles and lit from the sun’s rays create magnificent lighting effects.
Random
This is Random by Chia-Lee Yang. Random transmits this spell in bright transparent spheres and precious chrome bringing in the interior light-heartedness and the serenity – characteristic of the summer days. This magical lighting will not end but it can continue to random, creating the right atmosphere and the perfect environment into the own areas.
The thin wires support the light but the balls are of a resistant material, inside which incorporate the efficient LED light and the transparency makes the magic atmosphere that may be enhanced by various chromes.
Random not only interprets the randomness of an event in a summer day, expressed in its light-heartedness, but also the joy that wants to be transmitted to people to create their own compositions in an easy and fast way thanks to its modularity making it ideal for illuminating and characterize important spaces allowing you to add more fun to create your own lighting.
NAUTILUS Designer: Andrea Tosetto The name borns from the desire to express a continuous technological improvement applied to the pure essence of Studio Italia Design, the lighting, and translated into this lamp highly versatile and functional. Nautilus then express the perfect blend of cutting-edge technology and clean lines, as the most prestigious submarines, which are perfectly integrated with their strength in the calm water continuing their course aimed at the domination of the sea.
Nautilus
Clean lines of the arms put together is damped by the spherical shape of the diffuser, an eclectic diffuser, which is divided into two highly independent disks adjustable horizontally, as you prefer. The light source can be concentrated through the union of the two lenses that allow you to direct the light upwards and downwards and once divided can create points of light in two different positions and ensures the efficiency of a bright light and glare.
The applique allows the transmission of a highly expressive as well as functional light, combining the refined aesthetic innovation with minimal and unmistakable design. A point of furniture characterized by independent personality adaptable to different spaces and different environments thanks to the variety of precious finishes on its frame: matt white, brushed chrome, coppery-bronze, gold and rose-gold.
SUGEGASA Designer: Andrea Tosetto The wind was blowing. No. Not just blowing; crying. It was messing everything up, blowing off the caps of life. I decided to move far away as everything felt too tight here: it happens. There, in that moment, while everything seemed to lose form, something was persistent. A perfect figure, unchanged, in front of life’s debacle, was fighting its own private war against what was by then a full-blown storm. There was a hat on the head. A wide-brimmed air seemed to go through it as a caress. It was then, just then, that I understood it was time to get back home. I had to save that moment.
Sugegasa
Back in Italy, I looked for that hat: the Sugegasa. A headgear of the South-east Asian farmers who work the land. That’s why I wanted it as bright as the sun, with a thousand refractions, at night as well.
