The Luberon, the Dentelles de Montmirail, and the Mont Ventoux… On their first visit to Crillon le Brave, the Pariente family fell in love at first sight. Emotion is the driving force behind all endeavors, propelling them toward a singular experience. Crillon Le Brave is located in the heart of Vaucluse, away from the congestion and bustle that characterizes the region throughout the year. A magnificent 5-star hideaway for anyone looking to detach from the city and reconnect with themselves in a natural and authentic setting.
The white stone building stands at the very top of the village, radiating an aura of charm and elegance. The first look, the first emotions: captivatingly gorgeous landscapes, the white stone building rises at the very top of the hamlet, oozing an atmosphere of charm and elegance.
Elected best resort by Travel+Leisure in the World’s Best Awards 2021, a magnificent tangle of 17th and 18th-century structures, all covered in Virginia creeper, surrounds the church, revealing a secret tunnel here and a breath-taking panoramic terrace there. The hotel is made up of about 10 old homes. An ancient olive tree boldly stands to watch in the center. At Crillon le Brave, the Hotel literally blends in with the décor.
The antique red terracotta tiles typical of Provence contrast with a warm, yet modest, décor in the 16 rooms and 18 suites. The colors are in natural half-tones, the plaids are warm, and the materials are velvety… Linen is everywhere. The environment is light and airy, encouraging rest and luxurious relaxation.
The Pariente family envisioned presenting a fresh tale with this location in spring 2017. Charles Zana, the architect, and designer, provides the hotel’s common areas, as well as the suites and rooms, a new look that is in line with the place’s cachet and character. As a result, the restaurants and pubs were designed in a manner that combined traditional Provence norms with modernism. The family’s aim was to go even farther, to make this remarkable location a reference of French art de vivre for modern beauty enthusiasts from throughout the world.
In their two restaurants, Adrien Brunet, Crillon le Brave’s new Chef, presents La Provence on a platter. A gourmet restaurant, La Madeleine, serves exquisite food made with the freshest local ingredients, as well as an opportunity to explore an extraordinary legacy of diversity and compassion. From breakfast to supper, La Table du Ventoux is the hotel’s throbbing heart, a gathering spot where guests can enjoy authentic, regional food.
A place far from it all, cut off from the world… In the former vaulted stone stables dating back to the 18th century, huge bouquets of lavender have taken the place of the feeding troughs made of restored stone. Under the monumental arches, the Crillon white stone makes the atmosphere especially calm, a cozy and muted setting that is more than perfect for completely unwinding. Away from the noises outside and the daylight, Spa des Ecuries has everything to soothe over-exerted bodies and minds.
In this protected sanctuary, three rooms, including one double, allow you to take full advantage of the treatment rituals. The face and body treatments use organic plant extracts and essential oils as active ingredients and are completely tailored to the needs of each individual. To rekindle your health, all of nature’s restorative powers work in tandem with the expertise of spa therapists. CovetED can’t wait to experience this marvelous and award-winning resort.
