Paris Design Week 2019: Make Sure You Don’t Miss Out!

From September 5-14, Paris will be the heart of Paris Design Week, where all design lovers must meet. This incredible event breaths design and art everywhere throughout Paris, and it’s open to every design aficionado. It sits on 10 days of design, art, fashion, culture, and celebration of design! CovetED brings you everything about these set of events!

Paris Design Week concentrates 5 districts, with hundreds of events, 200 places, 9 itineraries, and a lot of enriching talks, that are filled with design knowledge. From September 5th-14th, the complete universe of Maison et Objet in Paris is on the spotlight, and it couldn’t be more exciting to be there and watch it all!

Paris Design Week decided that this year’s theme should be “Hybrid”, a concept that is able to transcend and transform the way one could percept the interior design world. It mainly sits on the ability to combine many different elements, serving as an innovative source of inspiration and new experiences. It provides a prism through which you can observe objects, furniture, and spaces and act to influence them as part of a quest for versatility.

One example of the hybrid transformation in design is the workplace that is becoming more and more hybrid – as you’ll see at Maison Et Objet 2019, whose WORK! theme provides the perfect setting to discuss this same example. This Hybrid theme it’s expanded throughout 5 important districts: Vertbois, Opéra Concorde Étoile, Pigalle Barbès Stalingrad, Les Halles/ Marais/ Bastille, and Saint-Germain-Des-Prés.

There will also be a set of conferences and talks that are incredibly important for the development of the design. Some of them are: “Design And The Hotel Business”, “Designers, From Selfgeneration To Industry”, with Michael Anastasiades and Julien Lombrail, “The Hybridization Of Workspaces”, with Sam Hecht, Kim Colin, and Mario Pescetto, and many other talks.

Many participants take on this amazing event that is Paris Design Week 2019, such as Rossana Orlandi on the representation of Italian Design at Le BHV Marais, Bang & Olufsen in Saint Germain, Cassina at Saint-Germain-Des-Près, and many more.
