NKBA announced best kitchen and bathroom design for 2016

National Kitchen and Bathroom Association presents the best kitchen and bathroom design of the year! There were many designer participants from different country’s, and they introduce their best kitchen and bathroom designs in the annual ‘s awards. The design awards are given with 14 titles including The Best Kitchen, The Best Bath, Before & After Kitchen, Before & After Bath, Budget-Friendly Kitchen, Green Design, Universal Design, Clay Lyon Builder/Remodeler Honorary Award, Small-Medium-Large Kitchen, Small-Medium-Large Bath, and finally Powder Room. Here are the outstanding winners of the competition of 2016:

Here are the outstanding winners of the competition of 2016:

The Best Kitchen: Lori Carroll-Lori Carroll & Associates, Tuscon, AZ

The Best Kitchen award honors Lori Carroll from Lori Carroll & Associates for her stunning large kitchen design with also $15,000 cash prizes. In addition to this award, she was named the winner in multiple areas including the Powder Room category (First and Third Place) and the Large Bath category (Third Place).

The Best Bath: Tanya L. Woods-AKBD XSTYLES, Bloomfield Hills, MI

2016 Best Bath: Tanya L. Woods, AKBD

The Best Bathroom award went to Tanya L. Woods from XSTYLES with $10,000 for this charming bathroom design of her. Tanya emphasized on the clients’ spirituality and love for the color purple in her design. This large bathroom is contemporary and linear but it’s softened by the sensuous floral curves and arched shower wall. The bath, in all its serenity and calm, creates a sense of togetherness.

Clay Lyon Builder/Remodeler Honorary Award: Sandra Gjesdahl-Bristol Design and Construction, Lynnwood, WA

Budget-Friendly Kitchen: Cheryl Kees Clendenon-In Detail Interiors, Pensacola, FL

The award ceremony held January 18 at the Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas, and prior to the opening day of the 2016 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS®), opened its doors to nearly 400 industry professionals. Over thirty individuals earned top honors across six main kitchen and bath categories and eight specialty categories.
