Italian Shipbuilder Benetti released more relevant information about their new project B.YOND. It was first announced at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show 2019 and now that Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2019 (FLIBS 2019) is about to show more incredible news & trends in the boat industry, let’s show more details about this impressive yacht.

We were very happy to know that new renderings and more information about its new range of hybrid expeditionyachts named B.YOND. Especially because it is a one-of-a-kind hybrid superyacht and will impress even the more exquisite boat specialists.

First announced at last month’s Monaco Yacht Show, the new range will eventually feature three models, beginning with the 36.5 metre B.YOND 37. B.YOND was described as a “serious expedition yacht built to travel the world”. The main reason for that statement is because it was built from steel and aluminium and feature four docks.

Key features include glazed surfaces, a sub-500GT and a garage large enough to accommodate two tenders and two jet skis. The garage will also include a toy room with direct access to the beach club.

A key concern of the yacht’s design is the clean separation of leisure and service areas, thanks to two staircases.

This will see the main deck completely dedicated to the owner and guests while the lower deck will be reserved exclusively for the technical and service areas.

The six person crew will be accommodated in four lower deck cabins, which will all feature private ensuite bathrooms. The lower deck will also features a large captain’s cabin, galley, laundry and cold room.

Services stairs leading from the lower deck mean that the crew can go about their work without ever meeting the owner and their guests.

The main deck meanwhile will be completely dedicated to the owner and guests while the living areas will sit on the upper deck.

The full beam owner’s deck will sit forward of the main deck, while the guest accommodation will include an additional four cabins. There is also the possibility to add private terraces to both the owner’s suite and two aft guest cabins.

The yacht will feature an advanced Siemens hybrid engine package for low fuel consumption, reduced environmental impact and a range of 5,000 to 10,000 nautical miles.

The SISHIP EcoProp propulsion package will operate in four different modes; Enhanced Comfort for night and coastal cruising, Eco Cruise/ hotel mode for use at anchor, Extended Range for long passages and Eco Transfer, which is for one engine powered navigation.

The first unit in the range is already under construction and Benetti has revealed that the second model in the range will measure 44 metres.
