Bannenberg & Rowell is definitely a top reference when it comes to highlighting the quality of British design, specifically in the conception of yachts. In that regard, they have a recent and incredible yacht project made alongside shipyard Benetti. CovetED Magazine is diving into some more details of this project: we will be talking about the luxury yacht Metis.

The best way to define this incredible accomplishment by Bannenberg & Rowell is as a luxury vessel that comes off as a clean, crisp and tailored luxury item. The exterior by Giorgio M. Cassetta represents a clean and refined style from this custom 63-meter yacht complete with a steel hull and an incredible aluminium superstructure. Among some of the most relevant features to be highlighted on the outside are the custom gym on the Fly Deck, as well as the “touch and go” helipad.

The interior decoration was handled by the cooperation of Bannenberg & Rowell Design and German interior design firm Birgit Otte Interior Atelier. In regards to the interiors, the top feature definitely goes to the existence of an over 160 sq. m owner’s apartment, complete with two double beds and an outdoor terrace. She also features enough space for accommodation for 12 guests split across eight cabins. The yacht also has an incredible superyacht beach club, with fold-out sections on both sides and at the stern.

The British design firm has done it again, being fully committed to the conception and delivery of their amazing luxury yacht project. Dickie Bannenberg, the Director of Bannenberg & Rowell, defined their latest project to Boat International as follows:

“Metis’ unique layout has freed us from what I call ‘the tyranny of alignment’, allowing us to unlock new corners and views of asymmetric designs. This approach, in particular, is reflected in the beach club”.
