Built on the former Teatro Via Funchal site, the hotel was designed by Aflalo/Gasperini Arquitetos, with landscaping by Benedito Abbud and interiors by Nini Andrade Silva. The contemporary design blends natural materials with urban aesthetics, celebrating Brazilian modernist architecture with bold lines, sinuous curves, and a striking color palette of greens, blues, metallics, and golds. Organic furniture, Brazilian wood, and native stone accents create an elevated yet playful ambiance.

L40 Cozinha de Latitude (40th floor) celebrates global flavors from 16 regions, including Portugal, Spain, Italy, Japan, and the U.S., infused with Brazilian ingredients and techniques. Baio Cozinha Sulista (23rd floor), led by Chef Tuca Mezzomo, reinterprets Southern Brazilian cuisine with a fresh, contemporary twist, emphasizing local and seasonal ingredients.
