With million dollars salaries and endorsements, pro golfers know how to spend their hard-earning money. CovetED decided to put together a Top-10 list with the best pro golfers’ houses. The United States has over 16,000 golf courses spread around its territory, so it’s no wonder that all of these incredible estates are located in the US, especially in sunny Florida.
Located in the Big Canyon Country Club, Fred Couples’ house is worth $3 million. This 3,800 square-feet home has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, several fireplaces, raised ceilings and large windows, all in an incredible Spanish Colonial Revival design. Surrounded by grass, formal landscaping and huge trees, its outdoor area comprises a paver patio with a fountain and a built-in barbecue.

Californian Rickie Fowler has banked $21 million on tour since turning pro but spent $14 million recently in his modern design house made of glass, wood and stone. The waterfront property has 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, a wonderful swimming pool with an outdoor shower, a spacious garage, an enormous courtyard, and even an indoor elevator, so he doesn’t have to walk down the stairs when going to his private golf course.
Constructed in 1994 and spreading over 5,500 square feet, Justin Leonard’s mesmerizing retreat comes with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and was purchased recently for $9 million. Although it may not be one of the most amazing pro golfers’ houses, its outdoor hot tub area is definitely something to die for and where the American golfer probably spends most of his time appreciating the spectacular mountains that surround the property.
Sitting on 5 acres, Love’s wonderful house spreads over 10,253 square feet and it’s the perfect choice for those who want to escape the busy city life and enjoy the calm and isolated woods. A great swimming pool, a cool gym and a nice wine cellar are part of the Victorian house and estate, along with its 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. If isolation is your thing, this house could be yours for a little more than $5 million.
Rory McIlroy has earnt $28 million from tournament golf in his short career and spent $9.5 million in his 15,000-square-foot house. The estate is situated in a prime golf location private and includes a nice gym, several hot tubs and a wonderful swimming pool with its own sunken bar, along with 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, numerous balconies and open staircases, bright white walls, high ceilings, and panoramic party patios on every level. A vehicle aficionado, McIlroy’s mansion also has a big garage and a place to dock a private yacht.

In 2016, Greg Norman ceased being Rickie Fowler and Tiger Woods’ neighbour when he sold his property for around $55 million. The compound, which spreads over 26,000 square feet, is composed of seven separate buildings. The astonishing mansion is adjacent to a Polynesian-style grillhouse right next to a huge 50-foot swimming pool and a 165-foot deep water dock for superyachts.

In 2015, the neighbourhood of Preston Hollow, in Dallas, welcomed Jordan Spieth. For $7.1 million, the 24-year-old acquired this 16,665-square brick exterior mansion with five bedrooms, numerous bathrooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a wine cellar and a beautiful man cave with a golf simulator. Outdoor, he has a lot of parking space in his 12-car garage (which sits on top of an indoor basketball court), apart from a mesmerizing infinity pool, a fire pit and a full kitchen.
Bubba Watson’s glorious house comprises 8 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a movie theatre, a great swimming pool, a spa and its own dock. The man from Bagdad bought the house from the legend Tiger Woods himself, but “renovated 95% of it”, he said to Golf.com. With a certain old-fashioned beauty and beautiful colours, the estate is located in the Isleworth community, which counts Shaquille O’Neal, Grant Hill, Mark O’Meara and Wesley Snipes among its residents. The house has been listed for sale for a few years now, and it can be yours for only $5.6 million dollars.

Spreading over 9,500 square feet, Lee Westwood’s impressive mansion comes with several bedrooms and bathrooms, a movie theatre and an exquisite kitchen. The torrid Florida days can be enjoyed in the big backyard or in the nice swimming pool, and the hot nights are just an excuse to use the fire pit and the nice terrace that Westwood has on the second floor. As with other pro golfers’ houses, this one is also for sale and it can be yours for $11 million.
More than $60 million: that’s how much Tiger Woods spent in his amazing estate. The more than 16,000 square foot space has a long list of amenities, such as a gym, a tennis/basketball field, a dive pool and a swimming lap pool, a private beach or a huge guest house.
