You might be thinking that the bar by Clodagh might be just another example of another ’80s-rock, body-shot beach dive, but that not the case at all! Rande Gerber had in mind the creation of a space reflective of the relaxed sexiness at Fort Lauderdale. With this in mind, they contacted Clodagh to create a unique space that represented an oasis at the Yachting capital of the world.
Right from the moment when one enters the Whiskey Blue from its beachside and cross the threshold of an alfresco patio, the real mirage begins inside where Clodagh has made their magic. Immediately your eyes will be captivated by a sky of electric blues accompanied by dripping lights that seem to ooze from the ceiling.
Clodagh has created a special touch within Whiskey Blue by adding a horseshoe-shaped by, matching with a mirrored black wall, as well as a hammered bronzed bartop and brass barstools. There’s a metalized sensation within the bar that gives the ambience unique and electrical energy perfect for those who are willing to drink and dance away until the night is over.
Another main focus that moved Clodagh‘s inspiration for this bar was the inspiration of elements that define Fort Lauderdale as a whole. We mean the ocean sights and the lovely sunsets that Florida is so famous for. If you’re cruising through FLIBS 2019, or just enjoying the last sun rays before the cold comes this is a perfect place for you to check out.
