The architectural design of La Buca may be defined as the sea kingdom where the visitor may observe the sea atmosphere of the restaurant. The realization of the local was planned by Andrea Bartolini who oversaw the project and execution in every detail: from furniture to lighting, from the walls to the kitchen. The design of the restaurant La Buca can be translated simply with the phrase The Sea in its minimalism: soft lighting, iron, crude steel, muffled sounds.Every technical and architectural project is part of a complex and organic.
The furnishings were designed and built by hand, only natural materials, which does not reflect light but absorb it, creating an effect almost haziness. In the club darkness and the dark iron, the raw sheet metal designed by Andrea Bartolini to recreate the feelings that every fisherman lived in entering in the galley of a fishing vessel. Materials “male”, passages of light, no sound: every sense they leave behind the Channel Quay recall of seagulls, the outside world, the everyday, to get in a place suspended, detached. A completely detached from the outside world, a place where you can breathe peace and alienation from the life of the town, a place full of personality where nothing is left to chance.

The incredible list of food of the restaurant include:
A young businessman Andrea Bartolini is an architect and the grandson of a fisherman form the third and the next generation of a family business. Being a food lover and an expert from the sea, Andrea adores his land Romagna and strives to create a unique spot for the guests at restaurant La Buca. With a degree in architecture and a great passion for the sea and its products, this talented Italian tries to offer customers with something more, something that differentiates the fish that you can eat anywhere.
To do this applies to the kitchen the teachings of a university professor of 1st year : “Everything has to have a reason. There has to be a core of the project, a final thought that can withstand standing still before starting to build it”. How does it work? They take the tradition and teachings, an excellent raw material, two talking heads – his own and the chef one – and thinking of essentiality and research they start the study of the winning dishes. This makes Andrea Bartolini an “architect of taste” (not only the architect of some of the local Bartolini then), a completely unique, who understands the customers want and know how to fulfill them. Only he knows how to best manage the family business in the area and strengthening it with the aim to bring out of Italy a bit ‘ of the sea.
The Michelin starred restaurant La Buca will be delighted to have you on its premises and enjoy the taste of delicious cuisine. Nothing is a leading, if not the pleasure of enjoying the Sea.
