Located in the town of Falls Village, in the northwest corner of Connecticut, Bunny Willams‘s home is a stunning view to glance upon. Being the host of the home, it’s no wonder that she would add her own touches to the household, by renovating and decorating the federal-style house and adding her own touches to the garden and giving this 19th century home a whole new life.
In all of the rooms, Bunny Willams managed to create a timeless feel, thereby avoiding a “dead” decor as she puts it. There are many elements from different time periods spread throughout the display, specifically atop the tables and mantelpieces. One can definitely admire the unique collections of ceramics and serving ware coupled with animal figurines.

There are many little details that make this decor special. Among them, we can point to the mahogany Victorian dining table (a piece inherited from Bunny’s great-aunt) which Bunny, as the current owner, uses for everyday dining and entertaining. One definitely notices the antique tole lamp which comes off as a lovely alternative to a chandelier.
Bunny Willams also varies in the many elements of the rooms. There are many fabrics in the furniture and the furnishings. Luxury materials such as linen, velvet, satin, seagrass, rough cotton, and polished wood make the amazing scenarios we are showing you throughout this article.
The designer is also a great adept of having plants indoors and spread throughout many rooms. Being a passionate gardener herself, it’s no wonder that Bunny Willams takes full advantage of them. As she said in a statement to One Kings Lane: “You want to get the plants up over your head. You don’t want everything low. If all of your plants are on the ground, you don’t see them. But if you put them on pedestals and elevate them, it is much more dramatic, and it makes the room so much more interesting.”
