CovetED exclusive interview with Maritza Capiro. She is an incredible interior designer with a Master in Interior Architecture and Interior Design, an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor in Business. Her path isn’t only interesting, but it also has something special in it. Maritza Capiro creates exquisite spaces that reflect her client’s personalities and lifestyles. Detail-oriented, she definitely has an eye for design. And guess what, we had the great pleasure to interview her. Stay with us and know more about her outstanding work!
A fun fact about Maritza is that her journey through interior design started with a project she made for her own house. Remodelling her home soon ended up in a desire to create beautiful and functional spaces for other people. Maritza’s first goal is to create a space where her clients can spend a lifetime living and loving. As her clients trust her to handle the very finest details, from construction to fabric and all the betweens, she embraces every project as a new challenge and a new way of expressing her creativity and exceed herself and her clients’ expectations. “While my projects have been featured in many prestigious publications, my biggest accomplishments come from exceeding my clients’ expectations and creating a luxurious, purposeful design that leaves them breathless.” – said Maritza Capiro.
Keeping in mind her passion for design, Maritza believes she goes beyond it – and so do us. She and her team provide a full-service experience combining a very personal side with a methodic professional one. A timeless luxury and refined functionality design that aims to attain her clients’ dreams! She considers herself a very lucky and blessed one for everything she has, still, she is an ambitious dreamer. “I always want to do bigger and better. I try to focus on the current work and do my best so I can continue to get exciting new projects.” – she said. Professionally what makes her feel fulfilled is creating and maintaining good relationships with clients, vendors and trades. Simple things with a strong meaning, right?
The process is very simple. It is very important to bear in mind that trust is the first step. So by the time Maritza and her team are contacted, they want her clients to feel comfortable, relaxed and sure that everything will be thought to the minimum detail. “Our process is seamlessly constructed with a comfortable client experience in mind. From the first phone call, until the final pillow is placed, you can feel confident that we’re with you every step of the way!” – she said.
The approach obeys five important pillars: discovery call, where the design project, budget, vision and timelines are discussed, followed by an initial consultation, this point is very important because it is when all the needs, expectations and dreams of the clients are exposed and on the other side it will help them to understand more about how Maritza works. The third step is the service agreement, providing the clients with a contractual agreement that will be used as a base for the proposal cost of the entire project, which will come after the design phase. The design presentation should be the fourth step, which includes the project launch, design creation, construction, approvals, and adding or refining the final touches. Last but not the least, there is the fifth step, the reveal. “This is the part we love; where we hear your breath catch and your heart skip a beat! It’s finally time to celebrate the design your lifestyle loves.” – says Maritza.
Her relationship with her audience is mainly based on a word of mouth referrals. But Maritza has an active online presence, she always maintains her website updated, sends newsletters to her target audience and has a careful and distinguished presence on social networks. At the moment she is working on some exciting and inspiring new projects. “I am always inspired by nature. I try to marry interior and exterior spaces, respect the architecture of the spaces I am working on and maximize its potential.” – she said. And that is when the designer stated that always try to stay away from trend and rather create the best design meeting her clients’ goals and desires. It is important to know more about her type of client. Is an individual that crushed that point of life where they want to enjoy the fruits of their labour and create a space that reflects that. Recently Maritza worked on a project together with Covet House and as much as we clarify she had an incredible experience, inspired by strength and beauty.
