The outstanding menu has the signature of the acclaimed Chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa, famous for his fantastic twist on classic Japanese food. Trendy, stylish and unconventional, the menu is centred around a dynamic Japanese-Peruvian gastronomic experience that you won’t regret. The culinary highlights include seafood, traditional sushi, black cod sashimi, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeños and hot dishes, such as tea-braised Rib Eye with Peruvian anticucho sauce.

Chef Nobu’s rich and diverse work experience made this symbiosis of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine deliciously possible – thanks to the exotic marinades and spices that pair wonderfully with fish and meats – and has avoided the trend-chasing, fusion cuisine.

The Matsuhisa Munich follows the successful formula of the original Matsuhisa Beverly Hills restaurant and his eight other exclusive restaurants around the world. Even though Matsuhisa was trained as a classical sushi chef, his path and incomparable culinary style result in the perfect combination of flavours.

Matsuhisa Munich’s space offers an intimate atmosphere with a semi-private section for up to 10 guests, where it’s possible to experience Omakase – a bespoke culinary experience exploring the chef’s best choices. Stylish and comfortable, the warm brown and gold hues and Asian decorative elements, as well as palm-and-leather furniture, decorate the appealing space. Matsuhisa Munich also features an exclusive eight-seat live cooking counter, where skilled chefs will prepare a variety of Matsuhisa’s famous Japanese-Peruvian dishes.
