An organic relationship built on Couturier’s own love of the product, coupled with his reputation as the epitome of luxury in home design, Savoir and Couturier have collaborated to debut this one-of-a-kind piece. Inspired by Art Deco furniture of the 1920’s, Couturier has reinterpreted the sinuous, elegant lines of that era into a design that is perfectly at home in the 21st Century interior. Couturier’s gondola-shaped bed design features luxurious fabrics from the Italian textile-editeur, Dedar. The surround frame is upholstered in Dedar’s ‘Amoire Libre’ in silvery, pale blue: a “free design” fabric, with no repeat or side-matching, lending a unique pattern to each yard. The tufted headboard is upholstered in Dedar’s ‘Alexander’ fabric, in medium grey, blue brushed woollen velvet.

Feeling as though his beloved dogs deserved the same level of comfort, Couturier has also lent his masterful hand to a complementary dog bed design. The dog bed, supplementing its larger counterpart, has the same, restful color scheme and also uses Dedar’s velvet ‘Alexander’ fabric.

To conclude, Savoir Beds continues to be at the forefront of designer collaborations as the brand hand-picks the best in their field to create inspired and innovative designs to further enhance the luxurious appeal of each bed. The Couturier bed debuts on the heels of previous collaborations with celebrated designers, including: Nicky Haslam, Virginia White, Philip Gorrivan, Mary Fox Linton and many more. Savoir is honored to work with Couturier and continue its tradition of working with like-minded partners who truly understand the benefits of a Savoir bed.
