Check Out Nahoor’s News at Maison et Objet 2019 ⇒ Founded in 2009 by William Pianta, “ Nahoor ” collects the great Italian lighting design tradition, by re-interpreting it according to their own view of making light. Every single article created by the designer is thought to be inserted in their context in a harmonious way, in a constant dialogue with the rest of the furnishing elements. From the clean shapes that shun all the superfluous, each piece is presented by the strength of the precious materials it is made of.

Each production phase, from the materials research to the finish study, from fine craftsmanship combined with high-tech workmanship, under the creative direction of William Pianta, leads to the creation of precious objects that transcend the dimensions of design and luxury and that instead want to establish an intimate and personal dialogue with those who own them.
The attentive and wise craftsmen ’ s hands, guided by passion and experience, do not fear the customisation and the limited edition edits. They allow us to act in an international space, where we can meet the admirers of excellence and of the authentic “ Made in Italy ” quality, for truly tailored service.
“ Nahoor ” is an Aramaic term with a strong evocative value that means “origin”, “ source ” of light. It was born to reassign to the light an appropriate role that corresponds to the sacredness of the domestic ambience and hospitality. Constant research of the beauty, as a result of the harmonious relationship between the single parts, creates lamps with essential lines, which are able to occupy the space without invading it: sources of light expand and regulate the visual horizons, allowing to recreate an order of the spaces.
100% made in Italy, “ Nahoor ” products are the result of the creative work of William Pianta who reinterprets the values of the Italian design tradition, thanks to the inspiration taken from the everyday life and from the technology in constant evolution. The forgery is a violation of the Italian craftsmen ’ s talent and its effects move beyond the sale of cheap and low-quality products: it damages the whole Italian lighting production system, as well as the survival of the craftsmen with their knowledge.
