Yabu Pushelberg design collection for Stellar Works

Are you back from Maison et Objet? CovetED Magazine has collected more design news for You! Stellar Works is presenting James Collection at Maison et Objet Paris 2016, created by designer Yabu Pushelberg.

The James collection is an understated exploration of modern masculinity – at once bold and defined, but also light and elegant design. The range includes a chaise, desk, stool and bar trolley, each one meticulously proportioned and ergonomically shaped. Full of subtle details and stowaway compartments, James is subtly inspired by the world of performance cars. The automotive references are also echoed in the materials: warm and tactile black metal, walnut wood and sable-tone matte leather.

Stellar Works stands for a renaissance of refined culture and Asian aesthetics. Inspired by craft and industry of the past, it represents a new commitment which bridges the gap between the old and the new – in attitude, form and application. Stellar Works seeks to reintroduce past collections of classics, alongside culturally-inspired contemporary signatures: it breathes an air of freshness into heritage and injects referential aura into innovation.
