Paris has without a doubt a great number of extraordinary places where you can enjoy outstanding local cuisine. Not many, however, can boast such a wonderful view! You can find The Sky of Paris – Ciel de Paris – restaurant on the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower.
The Montparnasse Tower itself is Paris’ only skyscraper and the viewpoint from its 56th floor terrace offers undoubtedly one of the best panoramas in the city. Second to the Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse Tower is a must-visit on a clear day to get views across the French capital. You can see from there all main sights of Paris including Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and Sacré Coeur.
Restaurant on the top floor of the tower is a design marvel created by renowned French interior designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance. His aesthetics revolve around natural forms, that are flexible, organic, fluid and structured at the same time. He imagined the restaurant as moving and timeless: Paris Grand Screen. A live performance with the city-lights as the star. An amber, soft and profound bubble of light.

From the bay windows to the central bar, depending on the aura of the mirrors, the skilled composition of the sombre reflections strengthens and transforms perspectives. The view becomes space; space becomes the view. The golden glints of the City of Light bounce off the sensual curves and materials. Paris is sparkling and all of a sudden the tower is more desirable. This primarily touristic venue is now welcoming and ethereal, a pleasurable experience designed for everyone.
Each item in the interior is a part of a great play that fills the room with delicate and magical amber and caramel coloured light. It will naturally resembles champagne, which is associated with the excitement but also symbolizes joy and celebration.
Noé Duchaufour Lawrance is an exceptional designer that would rather see each project having its own unique scenario, sustained without being distinguished in any way by a use, a form, a material or an aesthetic…A place where the curve and the straight line, sensuality and rigour interact in a confrontation conducive to creating meaning and able to awaken all our senses. Anxious to revive the notion of alive or living in his objects as well as the designing of space, Noé Duchaufour Lawrance considers each project like an organic form which grows with its user. In the style of a natural element which can also defy human order and disorder.
