Located in Bedford, England, this amazing country home exudes luxury design. Designed by Suchi Reddy to be the perfect backdrop for an amazing art collection, all rooms were created with the guidance of the client’s creative eye. With a soothing neutral colour palette and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, the juxtaposition of elements – like plaster or Portuguese tiles by luxury brand Boca do Lobo – ends up creating a unique but perfectly orchestrated home decor. CovetED takes you inside this beautiful space.

On the outside, the amazing country home counts with an idyllic pool perfect for the Summer months. On the inside, the incredible plaster staircase steals the show, along with the detailed panel on the back of the sofa by Timorous Beasties. Antique herringbone French oak floors ground the living area, which includes the dining room, where a 12-foot-long 3D-printed sculptural light by artist Geoffrey Mann hangs above the Studio Nucleo dining table.
Statement chairs by American sculptor, artist and furniture designer John Risley guard the entrance the study; on the right stands a large circular door with a marquetry map of the world, which was crafted by Thomas Duffy of Laser Crafts in upstate New York.
The design team transformed a former home gym into the client’s office to take advantage of the sweeping woodsy views the windows offered. The rug by Karen Sanders Design, features a compass pattern that points to north. The epitome of luxury design in this amazing office.
In the kitchen, Reddy created a system of shades that can be lowered for visual separation while entertaining. Images of Marie Antoinette are printed on the shades, to match the blue and white of Portuguese tiles and mirrors on the outstanding customized island by luxury brand Boca do Lobo.
The dining nook hosts a table designed by Reddymade and built by R K Custom Furniture; the art piece was a gift from Reddy to her client. The master bedroom was designed to be serene, without reading bland or minimal. Reddy upholstered the walls with custom-designed, Cubist-inspired patterns of musical instruments embroidered by the house of Jean-François Lesage in Chennai—to reflect the musical interests of her clients.
In the bathroom, Reddy commissioned Arand\Lasch’s Quasicabinet though Johnson Trading Gallery, and paired it alongside a custom-printed wallpaper from Maharam by artist Jacob Hashimoto.
