We know that it is very difficult to be at home at a time like this, and therefore, as more of us make the move to work from our property, for those who have to work from home, we have prepared a series of home offices to inspire you! Some of us must already have this experience on a daily basis and should not be a problem, but for some, the move is forcing us to create a workspace that feels right for working. We understand the importance that our mind has in our work so it is up to us to make an effort to sculpt method, discipline and feel good in this new and temporary workplace, but if the design is to our liking it can improve our creativity and our productivity as well! The main purpose of this collection is to inspire you through various environments, each adapted to a compatible personality. CovetED can only hope you don’t fall in love with your temporary workplace! Good luck.
A blank wall can’t do much when the matter is inspiration don’t you think? Surround yourself with books, breathe the inevitable knowledge of this study room in a Spitalfields house, look around, relax, get inspired and repeat.
Contemplate the beautiful Bryan O’Sullivan’s house, with a Sixties armchair by Kipp Stewart, covered in John Boyd Textiles’ ‘Selle II Stripe’ and a Fifties lacquered desk designed by while Cavatorta. This sophisticated furniture should and will make you and your productivity stand out.

The unconventional home of a writer and a furniture designer, a houseboat, operates as a design studio. The inspiration created by the environment cannot have any other word than unique, the windows provide the natural light that they need.
Working from home is not a problem for Pandora Sykes, the freelance journalist has been doing it for some years. You can see that she and her husband deposited their ideas in this office that now feeds them back with great inspiration on a daily basis. One of its amazing features it’s the Scalamandré “Zebras” wallpaper she had coveted for so long and clean bookshelf that holds free wisdom trips.
Suzy Hoodless west London home seems very balanced with several elements that stand out in a unique way. An Eames ‘EA117’ chair supports the green of a geometric print. The desk faces a blue wall with only a painting where she can imagine and create, accompanied by the light coming in through the window.

If you are a fan of home-made furniture and the positivity caused by the garden that passes through the window directly at you, you can’t miss this one. The Hamptons-based home looks comfortable, friendly and suitable for working in the best possible way.
Mid-century furniture and artwork are present in this Adam Sykes’ London house that was inspired by the properties he saw while living on America’s West Coast. This home office has an artsy touch that is impossible to deny.
A corner of this house has been converted into a very peculiar workspace at this townhouse in Bray decorated by Christopher Howe. A taxidermy penguin stands out and it ends to be the centre of attention in this sober and refined place.

A Twenties silver desk lamp by Édouard-Wilfred Buquet sits on a desk designed by Hugh Leslie in this warm wooden study in a Manhattan townhouse designed by Hugh Leslie.
Virginia White is the responsible for this clean and simple yet beautiful interior design work. The gallery leading to the spare bedrooms has been turned into a self-contained study, where Virginia chose a corner desk attached the mezzanine wall to minimise the amount of floor space used. If you want to focus while working, this seems like the perfect place.
Sometimes we desire everything but we can also function well with little. This tiny workplace stands out and it is concealed in a kitchen cupboard in this Victorian terrace house in west London by Clare Stevenson and Claire Sa, from architectural practise De Rosee Sa.
These can only be right because they feel right, don’t you think? Be ready, part II is coming very soon!
