The Vila Foz Restaurant

At Vila Foz Restaurant you will have a surprising adventure of flavours and textures through the talented and creative hand of Chef Arnaldo Azevedo, who recently won a Michelin star. Each dish is an exact and precise game of sensations: a complete and sublime gastronomic experience. Perfection and accuracy in each movement for an extraordinary finale in the palate. With the sea ever-present, the freshness and authentic flavour of the Portuguese fish and shellfish shine in our tasting proposals. With elegance, technique and audacity, the Chef and his team create exceptional art pieces of contemporary gastronomy.

The style is youthful and relaxed, but the focus is targeted and irreproachable. There’s an irreverence in the attentive eyes of Chef Arnaldo Azevedo that results in the boldness of his recipes. It all started with a family business, where he discovered his passion for cooking. Son of a Chef with whom he shares the name and the calling, he takes his first steps in the family restaurant before deciding to join the Culinary Course at the Santa Maria da Feira Hotel School. Other experiences that helped shape his path and set his personality in the kitchen followed. He arrives at Vila Foz Hotel & Spa after a steady, creative promising trajectory, being responsible for both the Vila Foz and Flor de Lis Restaurants.

The Design

Nani Andrade Silva was responsible for the interior design. The Vila Foz Hotel & Spa Interior Design Project emerges between the refinement of more than a century of history and the metamorphosis of romantic inspiration that reflects the constructive versatility of the existing building. Vila Foz Hotel & Spa has special significance for ensuring a high standard of refinement, in which respect was maintained for the building’s constructive period (last decade of the 19th century), as well as for its principles of elegance and rationality of spatial distribution. In a common trait throughout the work, Atelier Nini Andrade Silva sought to preserve the original elements and give importance to symbols, aesthetic idiosyncrasies and architectural elements sublimated by the details, whose expressiveness will be felt in the quality of materials, perfection of finishes, smoothness of textures and in the richness of the decorative elements, both in the existing building and in the new building built from scratch.

The SPA

At Vila Foz SPA you can take a deep breath and discover the importance of taking some time just for yourself. With products that respect the individuality of each skin, the needs of each mind, the particularities of each body, the experience was thought out to be custom made for each person. Seeking balance in the elements of Nature. they bring to their space the refreshing energy of the Atlantic right in front of the hotel.
