The Airspace: A Luxury Cabin Design by Airbus

August 2, 2016

France-based aircraft manufacturer, Airbus, has unveiled the new luxurious cabin design with the name of Airspace, which debuts on the forthcoming A330neo aircraft, at the Farnborough International Airshow 2016. Comfort, Ambience, Services and Design… Those four elements considered as the key factors while developing the luxury concept of Airspace by Airbus. It is intended to offer a sophisticated, flexible canvas as a backdrop to enhance the airlines’ own brands.

The elegant passenger cabin features larger overhead storage bins, wider seats, which are 18 inches in economy class, and aisles, besides an unobstructed under-seat foot space. Airbus also provides that the new luxury cabins will stimulate a unique and leading passenger experience. The luxury cabin includes LED technology lighting, a stylised cabin with clean, straight lines and shapes, clear surfaces and also the unique, customizable welcome area. Airbus said that these aspects result in an aesthetically-pleasing design combined with not just a feeling of space, but real space.

Such signature details and iconic elements will add to passengers’ enjoyment of flight while offering a flexible canvas to which the airlines can project their own brand.”
