This year, the fair is out-doing itself with some incredible highlights. There will be over 150 exhibiting companies from 10 different countries. Their Light School section offers the very best in architectural lighting innovations and inspiration. The Stone Gallery and its Stone Hub is an industry-leading event for specifying natural stone. There will be 39 presentations on 3 different stages with some 52 speakers covering an exceptional range of topics.
Curated by trend consultant Sally Angharad and trend and colour forecaster Colour Hive, Surface Spotlight Live is the event’s own ‘library’ of innovative and inspiring materials for you to touch and feel. New to Surface Design Show will be their New Talent area. 16 of the brightest new talents around will be coming to London to show off their designs.
What you can’t miss:
– On Tuesday, February 5th, there will be Opening Night Live Debate hosted by RIBA and New London Architecture (NLA) – open to everyone;
– On Wednesday, February 6th, the PechaKucha Evening is hosted by Chris Dyson of Chris Dyson Architects with a team of leading architects and designers to entertain you;
– On Thursday, February 7th, over a scrumptious breakfast, the 2019 Surface Design Awards winners will be announced in a ceremony chaired by design correspondent Aidan Walker. 48 finalists from 8 countries will be there competing to be the best of the best.

Chiltern Firehouse celebrates contemporary, ingredient-focused cooking, with an underlying American accent. Michelin-starred chef Nuno Mendes draws on a career split between the United States and Europe to create a changing menu of reimagined classics and bold new flavours, with an emphasis on seasonality and healthy eating. Interiors are charmingly retro, service is polished, breakfasts are excellent, and the Nuno Mendes restaurant is popular with the likes of Cara Delevingne, Kate Moss, David Beckham and Kylie Minogue.

It‘s safe to say that there‘s nothing quite like Flat Three, which definitely applies to London but could easily be true further afield. First off, it‘s one of Holland Park‘s first fine dining restaurants, a fact that‘s quite surprising considering the neighbourhood‘s property prices which skew to the stratosphere. Secondly, it‘s definitely the first eatery that we‘ve encountered which splices the culinary traditions of Japan, Korea, Sweden and Denmark.

Known not only for his incomparable French cuisine, Alain Ducasse has created innovative dining concepts reflecting international influences and consequently has earned a reputation for phenomenal cuisine.
