CovetEdition has great news for all lovers of extraordinary design from Japan. Known for its innovative style inspired by British heritage and obsession with honest materials, Tom Dixon has been expanding his brand internationally since its conception in London in 2002. Last week he has finally set up a shop in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. On Friday, July 17, Tom Dixon personally visited Japan for the store’s opening and launch party.
The opening of the space inspired by ‘An Industrial Landscape’ theme drew over 400 guests, Tom himself arrived to the party in a customized Rolls-Royce. Currently his signature lighting, furniture and accessories collections we all admire in Milan, New York, London and Paris can be purchased in 65 countries. His work been acquired by museums across the globe including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Modern Art New York and Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris.
