With the new Carte Blanche Project, Création Baumann highlights its collaboration with interior designers. To begin with, the textile specialists of Langenthal invited upholstery experts to develop the current “Silk & Spices” Home collection. The rules of the game for Carte Blanche are clear and simple: interior architects choose a space to interpret according to their style, utilising the Home collection by Création Baumann. Elliott Barnes has chosen a luxurious private apartment in Paris that he had already furnished ten years earlier. He returns there with Carte Blanche to bring the space an elegant look with a modern yet timeless style. The various fabrics of the Silk & Spices collection specifically play on this contrast, reinforcing the special charm of the typical old buildings of Paris.

On the evening of Thursday, 18th January 2018, the Drouot auction house will host the first-ever Paris Déco Off auction. Unique, limited-edition objects from our participants’ collections will be put up for auction, and the proceeds will go to a charitable cause.
