Exposing its exhibitions on sector, NOW! Design à Vivre, Portuguese brand, Byfly showcased an array of original ceramic and copper pieces at Maison et Objet 2017, characterised for an interchangeability between past and present. It almost seems as though the brand is able to create subtle universes with new forms, decorations and/or concepts which are quite charming and where materials like clay and copper are crafted or interwoven to perfection.

Designed by Christina Domingues, the CIRCUS collection has a real modern likeness to it in regards of bringing back those beloved childhood memories. Each piece is set to be singular, representing a certain emotion. This design is also making homage to the screaming colours, the performing stunts and the talented artists. Through horizontal and vertical lines, it sort of conveys a sense of balance and imagery.
The Gatsby collection is yet another amazing creation by Christina Domingues in tribute to the glam lifestyle of the 20s. This piece also represents the main characters of the beloved novel written by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jay Gatsby, Nick Carraway and Daisy Buchanan. This seductive and luxurious suspension piece embodies the aesthetics of art deco.

Joana Virgolino was the creator of the Octo lamps, a contemporary lighting collection which are bound to bring a luminous ambience no matter the setting.
