Top piece of news for those who like lighting design. In 2016 Anglepoise is delighted to unveil at the Light+Building 2016 exhibition in Frankfurt a greatly extended Giant Collection. The lamp collection includes the first Giant Outdoor Collection, a new Giant wall mounted lamp with versions for indoor and outdoor use, a premium 3-piece Giant Brass Collection featuring solid brass components and a new triple scale Giant interpretation of their best selling Type 75 desk lamp – all in addition to the Original 1227 Giant floor lamp and pendant, which now comes in a stunning new colour palette.

The Original 1227 Giant floor lamp is a beautifully crafted, highly functional light, with all the benefits afforded by the unique spring mechanism realised on a grander scale, but equally it’s a highly impressive, illuminated sculpture.

Now with white inner shade to maximise light output, metal chrome shade cap, etched logo plaque and smart, fabric covered cable, plus a brand new palette of 15 stunning colours, the first and ever popular Anglepoise Giant is even more appealing.

The Giant has been re-engineered for outdoor environments for the first time, incorporating marine-grade stainless steel fittings, a sealed light unit and durable silicone rubber cable. Big enough to make a statement, but flexible enough to work in smaller areas too, the Original 1227 Giant Outdoor Collection, which comprises a floor lamp and articulated wall mounted lamp, comes in 15 striking colours and can turn a garden terrace into a striking al fresco room.

A super-sized version of the Original 1227 Brass, the new Original 1227 Giant Brass Collection is a real showstopper.
