The best way to define the Las Vegas Market is by referring to it as a unique world-class experience which gathers exhibitors, designers and buyers all in one spot, more specifically at the World Market Center Campus. CovetED will be giving you some previews you can expect from this first edition of this furniture event.
There’s no doubt that the Las Vegas Market is definitely known for being one of the biggest furniture and home decor markets in the Western United States. The Winter edition of the event took place from January 27th to the 31st of the same month, and now everything is getting all set for the upcoming Summer edition, which is happening From July 28th to August the 1st.
For five days this bespoke event will be setting a series of trends regarding furniture, decoration and other relevant design áreas, defining many of the trends of the west, and also inviting many visitors worldwide to know and feel the colourful spirit of LA. This year the Summer edition will be giving a strong step in the midst of 2019 with the announcement of a set of partnerships with over 50 retail and trade groups. of which we highlight two particular ones: the Fair Trade Federation and the Independent College Bookstore Association.
Another interesting move that the Las Vegas Market is taking is giving a bigger emphasis on the home staging category through a team up with three industry-leading groups: The International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP), Home Staging and Redesign Association (HSRA) and Real Estate Staging Association (RESA. These companies will be giving a new dynamic to the event with a series of talks.
There will also be two particular sessions to look out for. The first is “Protect Independent Stores with Retail Leadership” on July 28th. It will be moderated by Chris Solt (current executive director of FTF), along with Colleen Higginbotham (Chrysler Museum of Art). This will also be featuring the cooperation of panellists David Whitaker of North Carolina Zoo Society and Michael Davis of Zootique at Cameron Park Zoo.
On the 29th of July the second session titled “Fair Trade – Setting a Legitimate Ethical Standard for Business”, will be presented. It will be conducted once again by Chris Solt, who will be talking about the many implications for brands, retailers, and customers, with the added emphasis on how many types of businesses can participate or adapt their work to align with fair trade values.
The Las Vegas Market has been launched in 2005 and since then it grew to become known as the biggest furniture, home decor and gift market in the USA. Within the showcase, many visitors can find in every edition a variety of Styles regarding furniture, home decoration items and gifts.
