Gwyneth Paltrow and CB2 Reveal Contemporary Luxury Décor Collection ⇒ Home décor brand CB2 recently announced their collaboration with goop, Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand. The décor collection hits the perfect note between elegance and functionality. With pieces like a mid-century Curvo pink sofa, Parisian-inspired china, and plush meditation pillows, the collection pairs goop’s aesthetic with CB2’s knack for making eclectic, contemporary luxury pieces that make a statement in any space. The signed, limited-edition Gwyneth Shearling Chair is a statement piece — only 40 were created for the goop x CB2 collaboration. This swivel chair is elegant, comfortable and covered in sustainably-sourced shearling. The frame is FSC certified. Also in Bouclé. “This pink velvet sofa, with its fluid, mid-century-inspired lines, is one of my favourite pieces in the collection”, says Gwyneth.

The dining room plates are wedding-china quality but meant for everyday use, perfectly juxtaposing functionality with elegance.

“I lived in England, where Chinoiserie wallpaper and tapestries are so prevalent, for such a long time. To me, the motif represents a very homey feeling, which I’ve never seen on a rug before. It was really fun to transpose it off the wall and onto the floor,” says Paltrow.

This room is elegant and cosy at the same time, proving that things don’t have to be hard and cold to be chic. The 3-piece mirror set is a great accent to any space, while the bench is the ultimate contemporary luxury piece.

“There’s a layered quality—a mix of pieces from different eras, places and times in my life—accented by nostalgic objects collected over the years.”
