Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola collaborate with Danish metalware brand Georg Jensen includes upside-down jugs and a set of tilted vases.

“My imagination was generously allowed to run wild, but stainless steel is a new material for me,” said the designer, who was named art director at Italian brand Cassina in 2015.

“The simplicity of stainless steel feels warm and masculine with its PVD finish, and the stripes – which were not easy to accomplish – give it an unusual elegance.”

The pitchers have a handle at its base, while candle holders are made from several steel blades joined together. Georg Jensen has also experimented with a new finish, adding several pieces that contrast rose gold-coloured elements with silver.

This extremely functional collection prides itself on the range of different functions most items can be used for, from the dining table to the office, decoration to wine and bar. There are vases that can easily be transformed into a wine cooler and champagne bowl. Another stand out design is a candle holder, which can slightly elevate its candles to different heights, captivating the eye and effortlessly bringing a touch of both sophistication and cosiness to any room.
