The historic Four Seasons Restaurant may have sold everything, including its sign, after closing in July, followed by an auction, but they’re not done yet. The owners of the infamous eatery Julian Niccolini and Alex von Bidder hosted a pop-up in the Hamptons on August 11th.
Airy and romantic, the Pool Room features an extensive a la carte menu and the deal-of-the-decade $59 three-course lunch menu that inspired everyone, one bite is enough to make you moan.

Built on the philosophy that less is more, the Four Seasons was designed by Philip Johnson and Mies van der Rohe, two of history’s most celebrated architects. Every element of the restaurant’s design, from the chairs and shimmering chain curtains to the glassware and utensils, was created to celebrate the International Style.
The city’s greatest dining room, the Grill is America’s most powerful lunchroom. At night, it attracts colorful personalities who visit for cocktails, lively conversation, and the light bite.
The one-night event at the Oreya restaurant and lounge at the Capri hotel in Southampton is a trial run and, it could become a full-fledged pop-up version of the restaurant. Its regulars are gearing up to bring the old spot’s energy to the Hamptons.
Nostalgia was high at the July auction of the joint’s stuff: The restaurant’s signs went for $96,000, $12,000 and $16,000. A set of ashtrays fetched $10,000.
