Milan Design Week (Salone del Mobile.Milano) was founded in 1961 to act as a platform for promoting the best Italian furniture and furnishings exports. Only a few days from the 2017 edition, from 4th to 9th of April, the most-awaited design event in the world will be the main stage for launching new brands, release an enormous amount of new products and unveil the interesting creations which combine traditional techniques with cutting-edge technologies. Throughout this article, CovetED will provide the most accurate information regarding the Top Exhibitors Expected at Milan Design Week 2017.

Covet Lounge is a deluxe platform gathering two luxury brands that will be showcasing in the same stand which will be located in Hall 1, stand D06. Covet Lounge consists of a place where designers, architects, press, bloggers, and field experts come together to celebrate design. It takes you on a journey where innovation meets comfort and luxury by featuring the outstanding creations of Boca do Lobo and Maison Valentina.

Hall 1 – Stand D06

Founded in 2007 by Leon Jakimič, Lasvit defines itself as a company that transforms glass into breathtaking lighting fixtures and design experiences. With only a few years of experience, Lasvit has won the attention of plenty of prestigious designers including Nendo, Ross Lovegrove, Daniel Libeskind, Maarten Baas, as well as the Czech legends René Roubíček and Bořek Šípek.

Hall 15 – Stands C33 and D26

Boca do Lobo is an exclusive furniture brand that focuses on providing exquisite and emotive experiences by creating design pieces wich reflect the Portuguese culture and traditions.

Hall 1 – Stand D06

Following a Greenery thematic, the colour chosen for 2017 by the prestigious Pantone Institute, Visionnaire Home Philosophy aim to provide mesmerising and trendy productions that are on the path of rediscovering nature and well-being as well as an eagerness for renovation. Visionnaire is launching a new indoor collection, entitled Cosmical which is characterised by being eco-friendly.

Hall 5 – Stands L15 and M18

Maison Valentina is a new luxury bathroom brand concept with high-end solutions as bathtubs, washbasins and freestanding washbasins, mirrors, lighting, case goods and other products that are made from the finest materials, such as brass, marble, wood, glass, combining them with rare handwork techniques and contemporary design.

Hall 1 – Stand D06

Fendi Casa has chosen the unique atmosphere of Milan Design Week to release the new 2017 campaign, which is filled with the best Italian furniture designs. The contemporary collection adds a touch of innovation and refinement without compromising the notions of comfort and freedom, enhancing and preserving the brand’s principles. The Rubelli company was founded in 1858 and it’s specialised in the production of handmade fabrics through the use of traditional techniques as well as highly sophisticated textiles. DelightFULL’s world is all about ambience, history and moments that stay forever through lighting designs created by some of the best Portuguese artisans with wisdom and passion for craftsmanship. It is a know-how culture that merges the past Heritage of handwork with attention to emerging needs of the future.

Donatella Versace has been Artistic Director of Versace since 1997 and has steered the brand into the 21st century. Today, Versace Group represents its heritage through its strong and fearless designs, while addressing a new global audience which continues to strengthen Versace’s position in contemporary culture.

Hall 03 – Stands E35 and F32

Essential Home is the epitome of bohemian retro design. Its mid-century modern lines merge important historical references from the 30’s and 60’s with contemporary influences.

Hall 6 – Stand C44

Roberto Cavalli Home Interiors is inspired by the iconic prints and patterns, from animal print to damask, combined with a diverse range of colours and textures. This stunning Italian brand represents the best of Italian furniture and takes Italian design all over the world, making it a true statement and a guarantee of great style and quality.

Hall 3 – Stands C09 and D12

BRABBU is a cutting-edge and sparkling luxury brand that reflects an intense way of living, bringing fierceness and strength to any interior. Each piece tells a different story from nature and worldwide cultures, written by the finest materials, textures and colours that live inside nature and inside the urban life.

Hall 1 – Stand L08

Flos is an astonishing luxury lighting brand with over 50 years of history focusing on creating exquisite lighting fixtures through the use of OLEDs and eco-sustainable materials that become icons, establishing new typologies and innovative archetypes. During Milan Design Week, Flos will present an outdoor collection in collaboration with Ceramica Globo, Kvadrat, Kinnassand, and Marta Sala Éditions.

Hall 13 – Stands C09 and D18

KOKET is a luxury furniture brand with feminine, mysterious and elegant vibes that will spruce up any space, making it look more glamorous.

Hall 11 – Stand E27 and F22

Having a clear projection of the future, Kartell will showcase a series of novelties, projects and materials, the brand has always had a rather resilient awareness in regards to what are the most resourceful and creative aspects that the design market most needs in a specific period of time. Regarded as one of the ultimate symbols of Italian furniture, the brand has an extremely iconic and contemporary presence within the interior design industry.
