Baselworld 2019: The Top 7 Watches Showcased At The Event ⇒ As always, Baselworld 2019 wowed us once again with its amazing display of novelties regarding the watch industry, have been introduced many new products by some of the top luxury watch brands. With several products for all needs and tastes being revealed day by day during the event, CovetED has gathered a couple of luxury watches that were launched or announced during Baselworld 2019.
For Baselworld 2019, Carl F. Bucherer unveiled its addition to Heritage collection: the beautiful Heritage BiCompax Annual which has a timeless and elegant design perfectly combined with modern mechanics. Right now there are only 888 pieces available either in stainless steel or 18K rose gold.
The new J12 by Chanel, seen during Baselworld 2019 is definitely based off of an immortal classic. This is the perfect example of elegance in black with the reimagining of a classic (around 80%).
Chopard’s entry remains as a perfect example of the quality of this watch brand. The LUC XP model comes entirely in steel, with a lovely natty merino wool tweed strap complete with a deep blue dial.
The new Gucci Grip, launched during Baselworld 2019, is inspired by the skateboard scene of the 1970s, and it’s available in either 35 or 38mm alongside many interchangeable straps. In the dial, you will be able to see the hour, the minute and the date.
Hublot is one of the watch brands that entered pretty strong at Baselworld 2019. With the potential partnership with Ferrari as the main highlight, the brand presented several styles of watches: Classic Fusion Orlinski (made with the aesthetic signature of artist Richard Orlinski), the Classic Fusion Ferrari GT (heavily inspired by Gran Turismo), the Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary watch (reflective of the history and heritage of Scuderia Ferrari) and lastly there’s also the Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon 42mm (beating to the rhythm of the new HUB6020 tourbillon movement).
Patek Philippe is another example of a brand that definitely never fails to surprise even in Baselworld 2019. The highlight, in this case, goes to Ref. 5235R, featuring an elegant black and gold colouring as well as a beautiful art deco look. The watch is set to continue the legacy of the ref. 5235G was introduced in 2011.
Rolex gave a swift update to many of its watches for Baselworld 2019, among them it’s the GMT Master II Black and Blue, Datejust 36, Yacht-Master and Sea-Dweller editions. There’s the Yach-Master 42 (crafted from 18ct white gold, and fitted on an Oysterflex bracelet), the Sea-Dweller (made from 18ct yellow gold) and the GMT-Master II (featuring a stunning Jubilee bracelet and new-generation calibre 3285).
