1508 London Designs Champagne Bar for Decorex 2016

Decorex 2016 is delighted to announce that London design studio, 1508 London, designs this year’s prestigious Champagne Bar. Examining the roots of design, this year’s show theme, to create a dialogue for space expect a bar design that reinterprets classical architectural principles for a modern audience.

Being one of the most popular spaces at Decorex, the champagne bar promises to be a surprise and Louise Wicksteed, the creative director of 1508 London, says:

“The Champagne Bar is always a popular space at Decorex, and we are delighted to be designing this year’s installation. Inspired by the roots of classical architecture, our space explores a deconstructed version of classicism. We can’t wait to share our vision with the visitors and exhibitors at this year’s show.”

Last year, 1508 London took charge of the restoration, redesign, and refurbishment of a traditional regency villa in the heart of Belgravia, as well as the designing of a leading global investment bank’s headquarters in the heart of London.

Decorex International 2016 will take place in Syon Park, and 1508 London’s champagne bar will feature alongside work from some of the world’s leading luxury interior, craft, and product designers. The bar itself will feature as the venue’s social hub, providing a space for attendees to unwind and network over the four days.

Though the design of the bar is still firmly under wraps, 1508 London’s versatile portfolio promises for an innovative, aesthetic, and above all unique space!
