Unity for Perfection: Louis XIII meets Hermès

The most luxury cognac brand, Louis XIII, has partnership in the first instance, well-known affluence goods producer Hermès, in the sequel silversmith Puiforcat and crystal ware vendor Saint-Louis to create a unique limited edition cognac set. The brand claimed about the monument, L’Odyssée d’un Roi, as: “a bespoke tribute to the character mythical journeys through the ages.”

The collection presents a hand-stitched trunk from Hermès, a white gold duct from Puiforcat, a crystal decanter including four serving glasses by Saint-Louis. The essence of the collection is the singular blend of cognac, which is enriched along a selection of the house’s aged, unique crus from Grande Champagne, made fastidiously over more than a 100 year time period.

Each decanter are depicted a 19th century map of the continent to where the decanter is located, the glasses as well. The case includes also an exceptional book “chronicles the King’s mythical journeys that begin on a 16th century battlefield in rural France but will touch every corner of the globe.”

The specific unveiling has been located in New York on May 19-20-21. The masterpiece will be auctioned by Sotheby’s, during this fall semester, beginning in New York in September 10, then in Hong Kong in October 1, ending in London in November 16. The entire income will benefit The Film Foundation, which is founded by Martin Scorsese for the purpose to prevent the cinematic heritage.
