Meet MDF Italia’s Gritty Neil Twist Collection ⇒ Salone del Mobile 2019 ended almost two weeks ago but we are still catching up on all the trends and news from the brands that exhibited at the event. MDF Italia was as usual present and brought some of its best designs to grace the fair’s visitors with. The universal nature of almost all MDF Italia design pieces – be it a design chair, table, sofas, bookshelves, or small armchairs  – enables them to meet the needs of new spaces; be it domestic or collective living.

This has been proved by the many projects in which MDF Italia’s furnishings are the main protagonist. Not only that, but they are also able to act on a wide range of projects – from hospitality to residential architecture, from contract to big companies’ operational offices.

Twist: Neil’s Evolution

 

Gritty, versatile, vibrant, yet at the same time an icon of essentiality, in perfect harmony with MDF Italia’s style. – These are the main features of the ‘Neil armchair’, that today comes in a brand new version -the ‘Neil twist’.

 

 

As the name suggests the main highlight of this chair is the manually braided rope and its contrasting internal cross-stitch which adds character to the overall chair design. If you are wondering about the specifics of the Neil armchair, this design includes rope with six different colours, with a white base, bronze or black nickel round steel wire, as well as the option to choose between armrest or no armrest.

 

 

The chair can also be used both indoors or outdoors, where its neutral or very bright colours will stand out – be it in parks, private gardens, meeting places, hotels, and public spaces.

 

 

Last but not least, the load-bearing seating structure is made out of steel, the woven has a high-tenacity polyester cord, the solution-dyed guarantees high resistance to the atmospheric agents, and there is also light, and abrasions, with stretch resistance. The frames are powder painted in matt white, bronze and black nickel with a specific treatment for outdoor use. Available in the low version, with or without armrests.

 

 

All Neil Twist models have a stitching detail in a contrasting colour, for all versions, in glossy anthracite colour. You can also choose between; matt ecru, matt anthracite; glossy silver grey; glossy English green; or glossy orange.
