Since its beginnings, in 1966, Kettal has had an international calling to design and innovation. The brand’s raison d’être is the creation of timeless furniture, functional and expressive, which represents a contemporary culture and provides solutions to the emerging needs of modern life, based on a blend of creativity, customisation, innovation and modern production. Specialized in outdoor furniture, Kettal develops products specifically for each project.

Kettal Bitta is a warm, comfortable collection which features a combination of aluminium frames with braided polyester cord seats and comfortable cushions, with teak and stone being used for the table tops. The new extendable table, the last piece of the collection released by the brand, is available with a teak, marble or aluminium top.

The Bitta collection comprises a full line of outdoor furniture, including dining and club armchairs, daybeds, deckchairs, sofas and modules, stools and bar stools, swing clubs and sofas, centre and dining tables.

Rodolfo Dordoni, the designer of the entire Bitta collection, explains that, when designing Bitta, his aim “was to create dense braiding that would still let the air through, reminiscent of the braiding of the ropes used to moor boats [hence the name Bitta, which means “mooring” in Italian], which makes the pieces look lightweight but, at the same time, they look just like cosy nests in natural colours to sit back and relax in”.

Architect and designer, Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan. The artist designs for various companies, such as Artemide, Cappellini, Cassina, Minotti, or Flos. The firm Dordoni Architetti, founded with architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, deals with architectural planning and interior design, residential complexes, stores, restaurants, hotels, yachts, as well as exhibit stands of diverse commercial fields.
