LA VITA È BELLA
Workshop/APD is a company of architects, interior and product designers from New York. The goal is to work hand-in-hand to realize one-of-a-kind interiors, exteriors and products at every scale. With projects from hospitality and residential to development, the design company is responsive to every client’s needs. Today, we want to show you their best design projects. Come with us!
The Workshop/APD aesthetic is indefinable because each project is characterized by a unique combination of talents and circumstances that is impossible to recreate; the perfect team, collaborators and consultants, endlessly unique project locations, and client needs and desires. However, their work – obsessively detailed and crafted, inviting and intentional – is unmistakable.

Pebble Beach Compound
Located in California, this project brings out the best in luxury design, with lots of earthy tones and natural elements.
Nautilus Pier 4
Nautilus Pier 4 offers fans of the Nantucket hot spot a stunning, spacious mainland experience in Boston’s Seaport District. The Workshop/APD team took cues from the restaurant’s modern fusion menu for its interior architecture and interior design, creating a sophisticated journey from Japan’s vibrant street food scene to the ocean’s depths. This modern jewel box features a bold palette of aquatic jewel tones, warm metal and wood accents, and striking graphic murals and wallpaper – a dramatic departure from traditional New England seafood restaurants.
X Denver lies at the intersection of creativity, health, and wellness. This curated community for collaborators, makers, and doers who want to connect and inspire each other features dynamic public areas and extraordinary amenities designed for a new way of living, working and co-existing.
Upper East Side Residence
Steps from Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum, and New York’s best shops, restaurants and galleries, a complete interior renovation transformed an Upper East Side apartment into a true collectors’ haven featuring dramatic architectural details, one-of-a-kind custom and gallery-level furnishings, and exceptional finishes selected to complement the exquisitely curated artwork.
In one of the West Village’s most stylish addresses, chic decor meets industrial modernism. Designed as a part-time residence for a young family, a dramatic entry in deep grey Venetian plaster opens into an airy, expansive open-plan living area furnished in light, layered neutral tones to contrast and complement exposed brick and dark metal accents.
