Rodolphe Parente sought a career in design after being inspired by artistic pieces from renowned designers, such as Pierre Chareau or Carlo Scarpa. Due to this, Parente went to study interior and product design at the École National Supérieure d’Art de Dijon, later on, he also attended the École Supérieure d’Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg. As to perfect his craft, Parente determined to enhance his skills in product design at the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne. As a result, he has become one of the most proficient French designers in the world as he currently owns an interior design studio, Rodolphe Parente Architecture and Design.
He started his career in collaboration with French interior and product designer, Andrée Putman, in Paris. His main responsibilities were paramount furniture projects. Postliminary, he was placed as artistic director of Malherbe Retail where he participated in questionaries about new commercial identities for a diverse group of esteemed brands, such as Dior, Sephora, and Estée Lauder.

Fascinated by detail, savoir-faire, and quality of construction, Rodolphe Parent has been bolstering his studio through knowing each one of his clients and putting them at the center of everything. He draws inspirations from the day-to-day happenings and by exploring the process between the mixture of textures and the artistic philosophy that derives from the creative process.
His studio is a multi-layered business that focuses on works, such as artistic direction, interior design, retail design, commercial architecture, scenographic arrangements, amongst countless others that invoke aesthetic concepts and innovative collaborations.
