Lois Macaulay Design is an incorporated company that offers residential design services to international clients. A former board member of ASID New York Upstate/Canada East, Lois was awarded two Presidential Citations for contributions to the profession. A graduate of Art (Basel) and Design (Boston), she is the recipient of numerous corporate and government art grants.

Lois Macaulay is an official representative of Goethe’s Colour Theory. She is a public speaker, design show guest and writer. Macaulay is known as a teacher who enjoys sharing her lifetime of experiences with design students and clients. Her depth of knowledge comes from a passion for research into materials, histories, inspirations and developments in this evolving field.

Lois Macaulay Design produces original furniture. “I really enjoy turning ideas into beautiful things. There is excitement in reinventing old pieces and creating entirely new ones.” The design office, workshop, and showroom feature exclusive pieces, imported accessories, and lighting in fully designed vignettes housed at 98 Hazelton Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
