Peter Dunham was raised in France, spent his summers in Spain, and was educated in England. After studying modern languages at Oxford University and International Business at the American University in Paris, he moved to New York where he resided for the next 15 years. Peter moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and started his own interior design company. Currently, he has residential projects in Los Angeles, Aspen, San Francisco, Laguna, Ojai, and Montecito. In addition to residential work, he has designed hotels, medical offices, and film studio offices. Peter Dunham was raised in France and educated in England at Stowe. He read modern languages at Exeter College and business administration at the American University in Paris. After graduating he worked in real estate in New York City. Peter moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and immediately started his interior design company. In 2003 he launched his eponymous fabric and wallpaper collection, now sold through 16 showrooms worldwide. To house a growing collection of handcrafted furniture, textiles and vintage find, Peter opened Hollywood at Home in 2007. Located in the Los Angeles design district, it has become a leading destination for design lovers. Since, 2007 Hollywood at Home has provided its design-savvy customers with an extraordinary collection of interior textiles, custom home furnishings, and must-have vintage pieces. Born out of acclaimed designer, Peter Dunham’s interior design and textile businesses, Hollywood at Home has become a go-to destination for customers seeking updates to their modern California Decor.

Peter and his team split their time between restoring landmarked houses and collaborating with renowned architects on ground-up projects. Current projects include a modernist Marmol Radziner house overlooking the Pacific in Montecito, residences in Los Angeles, the Bay area, Newport Beach, Montana and an iconic 1963 Horace Gifford house on Fire Island. The Wall Street Journal described his style as “Merchant Ivory Moderne” and “restraint with a kick.” His international style embraces colour and pattern, mixing bespoke furnishings, vintage finds and modern luxuries. His design work has been featured in Architectural Digest, ELLE Decor, House and Garden, House Beautiful, Coastal Living, WSJ, Veranda, Domino, Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles Times, and more. Peter is on ELLE Decor’s A-List and included in Vendome Press’s new book, Inspired Design: The 100 Most Important Designers of the Past 100 Years.
