As an interior designer, Ali Elsayed finds inspiration everywhere, whether on social media such as Pinterest, or Instagram but also from movies and his peers, interior designers.
The interior designer has created incredible projects so far that have left us amazed. We asked Ali Elsayed what has been his favorite to project to work on until this day. It was a reception designed on the ground floor of a Villa in Bahrain. He chose this now for the challenge that it was for him to achieve it.
The interior designer says that he combines function and beauty in design by trying to balance both of them in the best way he can. He underlines that he prefers minimalist designs because they are characterized by simplicity and clean lines. It focuses on the essentials such as shape, color, and texture.
“All spaces have their unique challenges so I combine beauty and function by trying to find a balance between them.”
Up until now, Ali Elsayed shares with us that his biggest challenge has been just after graduation when he started his own business. He had to work full-time in many interior design firms to gain experience and learn how to work with a team and improve himself in this field of work.
When designing the interior designer admits that a rug is a very essential item for a home decor. That is why in most of his interior designs, rugs are present. They bring the whole look together and add warmth to a place that could look cold without it.
“Rugs are an important element in my designs, they make a connection with the design elements like lights and furniture.”
The interior designer describes 2022 as a year where a lot of new styles emerged which helped interior designers to become more creative in their craft. He highlights especially “Luxury new classic” that seems to be the most trendy style this year.
Ali Elsayed manages to keep his signature style while showcasing his client’s personality by creating a mood board full of different ideas that will have his own style that matches the client’s taste and what they like.
“People say I am talanted in mixing different styles with each other and they think I know how to show the light elements in my project.”
They are new projects that Ali Elsayed is working on, he shares with us his excitement. The new projects coming up will have new styles that he can’t wait to show us in the near future. We are very excited to discover them!
