Élan Collections is a multi-line showroom that caters to the interior design community. With a specialized crew to help with textiles, wall coverings, furniture, and accessories, among other things. Ken Vacca moved from San Francisco to Las Vegas in 1999. Ken took up shop in the newly opened Venetian Hotel, after working for designer clothing for 25 years, in sales and administration.

Fast forward a few years, Ken was meeting with a friend about a position in her firm when she abruptly stopped and informed him that he would hate the job, but he should meet her friend Jan Gerrity. That was the start of Ken’s new profession. Ken recognized that his interests in sales and design had found a new home with the Gerrity Group.

When Jan Gerrity was diagnosed with ALS, his partnership with her took a tragic turn. Ken stepped up to drive sales and keep the doors open as Jan and her husband Ron battled the sickness. After Jan died, Ken worked with Ron to dissolve The Gerrity Group, but Ron pushed Ken to carry on Jan’s legacy, and Élan was born in 2009.

Ken acquired and then helped develop a new Showroom in 2015. On July 1, 2015, Elan relocated into 6,150 square feet of custom-designed premises for the next stage.
