The Hotel Zoo Berlin, formerly the pride of Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm, has been restored to its former majesty and splendour. If you’re visiting this lovely city, this exquisite, historic hotel is unquestionably the finest option

An extremely rare old gem that has been polished, re-establishing the glamour of Berlin in the twentieth century with the spirit of tomorrow. Hotel Zoo Berlin, with its 141 rooms and suites in the heart of West Berlin, blends history and modernity. the interior design of the hotels was created by Dayna Lee, a famous designer based in New York and LA. CovetED fell in love with such an inspiring and jaw-dropping service and design experience.

The hotel is located in a bustling promenade, in Berlin’s City West. The fresh face of the hotel results from the work of rewarded American designer Dayna Lee, from Powerstrip Studios. They have been rewarded for their incredible work in design and have been involved in major projects all over the world. With great attention to detail and through preserving historic elements of the building she created a townhouse-feeling that honours berlin’s traditions and conveys a feeling of New York and London elegance

The objective was to retain the building’s historic characteristics, leaving the hotel’s ancient charm unaltered, because details make all the difference in an interior design project like Hotel Zoo Berlin. As a consequence, an already great hotel now has a distinct townhouse feel, preserving Berlin’s legacy but incorporating elements of New York and London elegance. This 1889 structure has withstood WWII bombardment. Its revival provides visitors with gorgeously restored high ceilings and original brick and steelwork, but its historical opulence was never lost, and it was perfectly immersed in a strong feeling of modernity.

The 141 large rooms and suites include customized furniture and a vibrant Berliner attitude, creating a quirky fairy-tale world within. Contemporary and traditional elements are combined in magnificent harmony, with plush, thick drapes, exquisite carpets, George Smith couches, and large platform beds creating a glittering atmosphere befitting of 1920s Berlin.

A cosy living room with a double-sided fireplace that flickers both inside and out into the open-air winter garden welcomes guests to linger is one of the internal common places. You won’t regret a visit to the opulent Grace Restaurant for a moment of indulgence, where chef Martin Bruhn prepares the most delectable meals. On the rooftop, you’ll discover the ideal spot for summer night lovers to have a beverage while taking in the most stunning views of southwest Berlin. CovetED is overwhelmed and with such a thoughtful and attention to detail, where the design and architecture blend in magnificent luxury service.
