Diorama by Mingardo

Mingardo, the Italian brand made famous for the ability to combine cutting-edge contemporary design with the excellence of traditional blacksmith techniques, will present a special set-up created in collaboration with the brand Studioart, specialized in leather wall coverings and upholstery for interior decoration. The DIORAMA installation, located in the heart of Brera, is an invitation to rethink the natural perception of domestic spaces to create new answers to the constant demand for change and innovation. Through the creation of unforeseen micro-worlds, Mingardo presents the most iconic pieces of the brand together with the brand new 2019 collections. The novelties, signed by Studipepe, Gio Tirotto, Elisa Honkanen and the duo Bernhardt-Vella, feature essential shapes that enhance the qualities of materials but maintain a keen eye towards details and elegant aesthetics.

Breeze of Light by Daikin and Nendo

Daikin Industries, Ltd., in collaboration with the design studio nendo (hereinafter referred to as “nendo”) led by Oki Sato, will be presenting an exhibit this year at Milan Design Week 2019. This marks the 4th time for the Daikin Group to participate in the event. For 2019, Daikin presents “breeze of light,” an air-related installation created by nendo through its flexible concept. Air, which forms the basis of Daikin’s business domain, is essential to Human life. However, as it is invisible in its natural state, air is an element that people often take for granted. This exhibit visualizes air and enriches visitors’ hearts with its new way of experiencing air.

Nilufar Gallery Design Art Showcase

Starting from the end of the ’90s, Nilufar Gallery knew how to cut out its own space and become the reference point to lovers of historical design as well as to people following the evolution of contemporary design, above all within that more learned, poetic and visionary area shifting between production and contemporary art. Nina Yashar, the gallery founder, works with her sister Nilu and a team of five people. This year, for Milan Design Week, the Gallery presents PIANO NOBILE, Details, Chez Nina – Episode II and new contemporary projects.
