CHROMATICA, MAISON SARAH LAVOINE
Unveils a fresh collection of furnishings and accessories at its city showroom, showcased as part of Maison&Objet In The City. This new ensemble draws inspiration from Mexico, capturing its vibrant colors and an arrangement of natural materials for a striking contrast. Specifically influenced by Mexican architecture and the transformative impact of color on spaces, the color palette encompasses the rich hues of currants, the lively tones of paprika, and the serene greens and yellows reminiscent of a lagoon. The seating design, reminiscent of the 1970s, features deep, modular structures upholstered in bouclette fabric. Additionally, ceramic takes center stage, adorning both the table and the innovative Sablier table lamp.
EMMA COGNÉ
Emerges as one of the notable talents in the transformative initiative of Rising Talents at the Parisian fair. In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the initiative diverges from its traditional approach of spotlighting one country at a time, opting instead to explore the finest talents united by a common theme. The January 2024 edition of Maison & Objet focuses on Tech and Savoir Faire, and within this theme, French designer Emma Cogné stands out as one of the featured stars, handpicked by interior designer Lionel Jadot. Cogné’s work revolves around the re-evaluation and metamorphosis of discarded materials, aiming to accentuate their inherent worth. Her creative endeavor involves crafting a sequence of corrugated plastic pipes—typically utilized for safeguarding electrical cables in households—that she salvages from streets, construction sites, and factories.
MATHIEU LEHANNEUR
Named “Designer of the Year 2024” by Maison & Objet, Mathieu Lehanneur seamlessly blends futuristic and natural elements into his design philosophy, harmonizing with the event’s overarching theme. With a multidisciplinary approach that extends across objects, architecture, and beyond, Lehanneur injects a sense of awe into his creations. His commitment extends to overseeing the complete design and production process, forging collaborations with scientists and startups to seamlessly integrate design, technology, art, and craftsmanship. Lehanneur’s visionary work epitomizes the convergence of art and science, making him a fitting and exceptional choice for Maison & Objet 2024.
BOCA DO LOBO
Boca do Lobo made a stunning impression at Maison&Objet, presenting a curated display of their most coveted pieces for a discerning audience. From lavish bookcases to indulgent sofas and groundbreaking luxury safes, each item was showcased with unparalleled uniqueness and meticulous attention to detail. The brand’s mastery in seamlessly blending functionality with artistic expression took center stage, solidifying Boca do Lobo‘s esteemed reputation as a trailblazer in the exclusive world of luxury design. This showcase undoubtedly reaffirms their position as a standout presence in the pages of coveted magazines.
LUXXU AND PULLCAST
In an extraordinary collaboration, LUXXU and PullCast joined creative forces to deliver an enchanting fusion of design and craftsmanship at Maison et Objet 2024. The LUXXU exhibit transformed into a sanctuary for those in search of opulence in contemporary furniture and striking lighting. The synergy with PullCast not only displayed LUXXU’s timeless classics but also provided visitors with a compelling introduction to the brand’s essence—a realm where luxury and design effortlessly intertwine.
