Brera

Taking place in Milan from April 15 to 21, the Brera Design District presents its fifteenth edition of the Design Week. It aims to encourage reflection on contemporary challenges, promoting a conscious design culture and providing space for practices capable of generating transformative actions. Building on the results of the last edition, Brera Design Week aims to surpass the mark of 210 events in 2024, with a total forecast of over 260 events in the district, including the 196 permanent showrooms, including the 15 new openings from May 2023. These figures confirm Brera’s position as the most relevant and significant district internationally for the world of design, not only during its Design Week.

Tortona

Collaborating with the Double Malt communication agency, Tortona Design Week promises a fresh approach, aiming to unite and showcase the realities of the Tortona area. Building on the success of the 2023 edition, which focused on youth, research, and the future, the upcoming event seeks to promote innovation and inclusiveness. With over 90,000 visitors, including a significant presence of students from China, Japan, and Eastern Europe, Tortona Design Week continues to captivate audiences and empower the next generation of designers.

Isola

To move towards the future, designers must embrace experimentation and collaboration across all fields and disciplines, seek innovative solutions, and keep in mind that design should have a collective impact on the planet and on humanity as well. For Isola Design Festival 2024, during the upcoming Milan Design Week, Isola will go to the boundaries of design thinking, to look into new ways of generating value through ideas, projects, and solutions. By bringing together designers from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, the event will inspire a holistic approach that transcends borders and traditional ways of seeing design. Highlighting, as always, forward-looking proposals that mix innovation, sustainability, and craftsmanship, Isola unites diverse fields into a promising design multiverse, showcasing the potential face of this industry in the years ahead.

5VIE

5VIE is a dynamic cultural network in Milan, founded in 2013 to revitalize the historical center. Divided into three main themes – Art + Design, Experience, and Social Innovation – the project collaborates with Design Week, local artisans, and sustainability initiatives. 5VIE provides a captivating context blending medieval charm with curated contemporary design. Over the past decade, 5VIE has stood out for its emphasis on creativity, expressive gestures, and the fusion of design with art and performance.

We Will Design

We Will Design will transform BASE into a “Conviviality Laboratory” where a temporary community explores new forms of interdependent relationships. This event invites reflection on innovative practices of coexistence and sharing, particularly addressing topics such as migration, gender, abilities, health, and cultural backgrounds. Emphasizing principles of cooperation, democracy, and ecological responsibility, We Will Design imagines new modes of coexistence based on human dignity and resistance against futuristic and elitist structures.

Hermès

Versace Casa

Dive into the lavish realm of Versace at Milan’s Palazzo della Permanente during Milan Design Week. Enter a specially curated show area where the luxurious essence of Versace reigns supreme.
